Autumn Colours
During the last week or two of October the countryside around Drumkeeran was awash with a wonderful variety of the golden colours of autumn.
Wherever one travelled around the parish the yellows, browns and golden browns
were
to be seen in the trees along the roadside
as well as in the fields and on the hillsides.
This was one of the finest displays of autumnal colour to be seen in years.

At this time of year, as we enter the month of November,
traditionally a month when
we remember our deceased relatives and friends,
the autumnal appearance around our
cemeteries added an extra poignancy to the season.
