Myles McPadden RIP

The death has taken place of Myles McPadden, Sheena and formerly Newbridge.

Myles died on Tuesday, 17th June, in Sligo Regional Hospital.

It was with great sadness that the communities of Drumkeeran and Newbridge heard of his death.

Myles was one of nature’s gentlemen; a truly lovely man.

Always so helpful, quiet and gentle,
he was a joy to meet for a chat.

Under a cloud of illness for the past three years,
Mylie continued on with his life,
his good humour, optimism and generous spirit
shining through.

Mylie will be sadly missed by his sisters and relatives
and, most particularly, in Drumkeeran where many people
will remember him with affection for his loving presence
and helpful, generous spirit.

Mylie’s nearest neighbours and gardening friends will sorely miss his grá
for flowers and neighbourly kindness.
He and those neighbours have, for many years,
mad the entrance to their estate in Sheena a most attractive and welcoming one.

We extend sympathy to his sisters Ann, Una and Margaret,
and to his cousins, friends and neighbours.

Ar dheis Dé go raibh a Anam uasal.
