Mary Gilhooly RIP


The death has taken place of Mary Gilhooly, Richmond Road, Dublin,

and formerly of Gortnasilla, Drumkeeran.


Born in November 1919,
Mary was the daughter of
James and Bridget Gilhooly,
Gortnasilla.

Though a frequent visitor to her native Drumkeeran,
Mary lived most of her life away from home.

She worked in the Passport Office in Dublin for many years.

In failing health over the last few years,
Mary died on 17
th June.


Following the funeral Mass in St Brigid’s Church, Drumkeeran,
Mary was laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery
on Thursday, 19
th June.


She was predeceased by her brothers Michael and Kevin.

She is survived by her brother Eamon,
to whom we extend our sincere sympathy.
