Michael Shanley holds up the freshly cleaned and polished sanctuary lamp holder.
This
photo gives a clear impression of just how large it is.
Sean first attaches the weight to the chain and then, to the bottom of the weight,
he attaches the middle section.
The lower section is handed up to him and he attaches it to the rods of the middle

Michael then turns his attention the Tabernacle door.
He begins by polishing the hinges of the door and then lacquers them.
Finally, he reattaches the refurbished brass plates to the door.
The tabernacle door, which had been badly tarnished, is now restored to its full
glory.
