Drumkeeran Wins Final

Drumkeeran Wins Division 2 Final

Drumkeeran captain Cathal McCauley is presented with the cup

Drumkeeran staged a dramatic second-half comeback

to snatch victory against Fenagh

in an exciting Division 2 Intermediate Final

in Ballinamore on Sunday, 13 November.

Drumkeeran, who had lost the last three intermediate finals by one point,
seemed to be heading for another defeat when they went in at half-time
nine points behind the opposition.

However, Drumkeeran took a firm grip of the game from the start of the second half,
holding Fenagh scoreless for 24 minutes.

The fight-back was  given huge impetus when
scored a goal for Drumkeeran.

By the 58th minute Drumkeeran trailed by just one point.
Colm Clarke scored the equalising point
and, a minute later, Jamie Langan scored the winning point.

We congratulate the team on a wonderful success.
