Sixteen Young People Receive
Sacrament of Confirmation

Bishop Leo O’Reilly

celebrated the Sacrament of Confirmation

for sixteen young people

from our local National Schools

on Sunday 14 May.

Twelve of these young people are pupils in Drumkeeran NS.

Bishop Leo, is pictured here with the twelve young people and with Mrs Andrea McManus,
their teacher and school principal.

Those who received the sacrament are:
Amy Bohan, Thomas Davitt, Michaela Fraser, Shyneece Gallagher,
homas Gallagher, Stephen Goldbey, Charlie Jones, Kayla Maguire,
Phyllis McMorrow, Callum McTeigue, Fiona O’Hara and Shona Wynne.

Four  of the young people are pupils in Tarmon NS.

Deaglan Fallon, Christopher McPartlan, Niamh Reynolds and Aaron Rynn
are pictured here with Bishop Leo and with their teacher Ms Ryan.

In his sermon, Bishop Leo quoted Pope Francis, when he said
that the three most important words in family life are
‘please’, ‘thank you’ and ‘sorry’.

When people use these words the fruits are
love, joy and peace.

Bishop Leo told the children that it was his heartfelt prayer
that the Holy Spirit would fill their lives with
love, joy and peace.
